Jeco Energies has acquired a majority share in Dymotec and takes next step in industrial automation.

HERENTALS, 22 September 2022 - Jeco Energies, market leader in emergency solutions for high-voltage installations and technical services for industrial electrical installations, took a majority share in Dymotec. Dymotec thus secures a strong market position for the future, while Jeco Energies invests in industrial automation as an expansion segment.

Dymotec, based in Olen, has been an industrial automation expert for more than 25 years. The company's activities include electrical engineering, software engineering, installation works and sign building, which perfectly complements the portfolio of Jeco Energies, a long-standing key reference in the energy sector.

Like Jeco, Dymotec is focused on total solutions for industrial customers, our operating methods and the services we offer are therefore already quite similar, says Jef Van den Brande, owner of Jeco Energies Group. Besides, there is not only a match between the two companies' activities, but also between their visions, structured approach, thorough customer service and working mentality. “We are complementary in all aspects with a strong synergy between the teams”.

Recent changes

As recently as June 2022, Jef's team announced that it would continue under the new name Jeco Energies, following a merger of DSG Belgium, DSG Netherlands and their independent spin-off GENS Rental. Also joining the team was Bob Zegers as the new CEO at the helm. “So a lot of big changes,” Bob says. "The participation in Dymotec also fits perfectly into the framework of our strategic growth plan". We like to expand organically and also combine these objectives with smart acquisitions to increase our market share. This will allow us to serve our customer base even better and grow into an all-in-one service provider in more and more areas.”

“Because of this ambition, we are looking for new talents to join our teams. Together, we will become the pioneers in the energy and automation solutions of the future.”

Pioneers in energy

Dymotec will come under the wings of Jeco Energies Group from the end of September, but internally all is maintained. "We will continue as before, but now with a strong partner at our side to support our growth ambitions," say Sven Bos and Davy Nuydens, directors and co-shareholders of Dymotec. Bob Zegers agrees: “Because of this ambition, we are looking for new talents to join our teams. Together, we will become the pioneers in the energy and automation solutions of the future.”

When power becomes smart.
