Jeco Energies acquires Applitech and strengthens its position in the Netherlands
Haarlem/Herentals, January 10, 2025 – Jeco Energies, a specialist in energy solutions for both temporary and permanent applications and industrial automation, proudly announces the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Applitech.
Applitech BV, founded in 2001 and based in Amsterdam, employs more than 50 people and generated a turnover of 14 million euros in 2024. The company specializes in the design, manufacturing, control and maintenance of a wide range of energy systems. It provides control and distribution systems for various applications, including emergency power for data centers, hospitals and complete power plants.
Additionally, Applitech developed its own Flex-Line low-voltage distribution system, which is used in transformer stations by various suppliers. The company has also been an official partner of Siemens for SIVACON S8 systems for many years, delivering solutions to sectors where uninterrupted power supply is critical.
With the acquisition of Applitech, Jeco Energies strengthens its operations in the Netherlands, particularly in the field of industrial energy distribution systems and the servicing of these systems. This is a perfect complement to Jeco Energies' existing portfolio, which is known for providing integrated solutions to industrial clients.
“We are proud and happy to welcome Applitech and all its employees to Jeco Energies,” says Jan Van Nuffel, CEO of Jeco Energies. “The company is renowned for its high standards and expertise. Applitech is our first acquisition since we launched our buy-and-build growth strategy just last November, strongly supported and guided by NPM Capital. We are very selective in our acquisition policy, and we are confident that Applitech fully meets our requirements, as it strengthens our existing activities in emergency power applications, control systems, distribution systems and industrial services. Moreover, the acquisition of Applitech underscores our stated ambition to expand our operations in the Netherlands.”
John de Leur, Managing Director of Applitech, adds: "I am extremely happy that Applitech has been acquired by Jeco Energies, and I am confident that this acquisition will allow Applitech to further strengthen its position as a leading panel construction company in the Netherlands. Applitech is in good hands."
For the customers of both Applitech and Jeco Energies, this partnership means enhanced services and even more innovative, tailored solutions. The teams from both companies are working closely together to ensure a seamless transition and continue to uphold the high standards of quality.
